William Paul Young has written the #1 New York Times best seller. This book is being read by many people. It is an attempt to look at the triune of God from a different perspective. MackKenzie Allen Phillip's life is turned upside down by a tragic event. The great sadness dominates his life until he receives a note. Unknown to him, God uses this note to bring Mack to the shack. It is at The Shack that Mack relearns about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is at The Shack that Mack experiences God's love. Sign-up for a book. We'll read it and discuss it. Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in the upper classroom.

January 18 - Annual Meeting

Come hear of the strengths and needs of Ascension. Meeting is held in the sanctuary after worship, time is given to grab a cup of coffee and a donut from downstairs. This is your chance to ask questions of the council and elect new council officers.

Active Adults January 21 at 1:00 p.m. - First Lutheran

Liz Johnson was in an accident that paralyzed her from the eyelids down. She communicated by blinking her eyes. She was told she'd never walk again but she came out of it. Part of her recovery was through music theraphy. Come join her for Gospel and traditional songs. Her music is her thankfulness to God for all that has occurred.

Come share a dessert and enjoy Music by Liz.

January 24 - Game Night at Ron's house at 6:30 p.m.

All adults are invited to bring a game and food to share and join in the fun of this great event. A variety of games are played and laughter abounds as we have fun fellowship together.
